Welcome at the Higher Education Research / University Education division!
In both research and teaching, our division is concerned with topics and issues in the field of higher education. This includes, in particular, the research and educational function of higher education institutions, their embedding in societal contexts as well as current developments (e.g., digitalization in teaching and learning) and historical perspectives.
Our division is comprised of two junior professorships and their research groups: the Junior Professorship for Higher Education Research and the ECDF Junior Professorship for Digital Knowledge Management in Teaching and Learning.

The article deals with the question of which factors on the part of teachers and students promote learning success in digital settings. The findings of the article provide important indications as to which aspects should be focused on in the (further) development of digitalization strategies at universities.
