KoKoHs II

Scientific Transfer Project for the funding scheme ‘Modeling and Measuring Competencies in Higher Education - Validation and Methodological Innovations (KoKoHs)’

Description

Assessing domain-specific and generic competencies in higher education in Germany, the projects of the initiative on ‘Modeling and Measuring Competencies in Higher Education (KoKoHs)’ face similar methodological challenges regarding longitudinal assessment designs and multilevel analyses. In order to help foster synergies among KoKoHs project teams the scientific transfer project was installed with offices in Berlin (headed by Professor Hans Anand Pant, Humboldt University of Berlin) and in Mainz (headed by Professor Olga Zlatkin-Troitschanskaia, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz). The scientific transfer project facilitates comprehensive presentations of project results and findings of the overall program to increase KoKoHs research’s national and international visibility as well as cooperation among national and international partners. For a period of four years (2015-2019) it is going to promote networking and cooperation among researchers, systematically and continuously support young researchers, pool findings from the previous and new KoKoHs initiatives, and facilitate dissemination of results on multiple levels.
